    Systems Programming and Machine Organization

    Teaching assistant Fall 2020, Fall 2021 with Eddie Kohler

    Harvard’s introductory systems course, around 200 students a year. My favorite section to teach was virtual memory: page tables map an enormous address range with very few pages, and watching that idea land never got old. My favorite assignment is the shell, which is the hardest one and the one that makes process creation concrete.

    Circuits, Devices, and Transduction

    Teaching assistant Fall 2021 with Gage Hills and Woodward Yang

    Circuit theory and semiconductor devices. I ran the lab office hours, walking students through building circuits and choosing components, and graded labs and exams.

    System modeling, stability analysis, and feedback controller design. Taught remotely: I ran problem-set office hours and helped run breakout discussions during class.

    From resistor circuits and op amps through to digital logic. Also taught remotely, which meant debugging students’ breadboards over video.
